The idea came out of the blue…

Two friends sit across the yogurt shop, and wondered whether yogurts can freeze in presence of alcohol... Friend’s names were Andrei, the inventor of Spicen and Mark, the first investor. The answer to their question turned out to be… “ Yes”.

Spicen Craft Cordials were originally developed to freeze yogurts with alcoholic beverages. To our knowledge, the concept of soft-served , alcohol-infused froyos is authentic. Not to mention < 2 % fat content, use of natural food ingredients with no artificial additives, preservatives or coloring agents.

Soon we realized that Craft Cordials are truly multipurpose food and
drink ingredients. Shelf-stable cordials of uncompromised freshness is a dream
of many bartenders, who spend hours preparing special syrups and fruit blends
every day.

We would like to expand internationally. Vijay, our IT director is establishing a business venture in India. That country is waiting to be discovered… Guess which beverage they would use in Mexico to make alcohol-infused frozen desserts? What about Cuba or France? You got the point… Country’s alcohol is a matter of national pride. We would like to be a part of those traditions globally. 

At Spicen we build products and recipes. Most of them are novel and unique. On the other hand, there is plenty of room for innovative mixologists and chefs to create their own masterpieces. Join our Spicen team and co-create with us !
